I’m Jim Peacock, and I’ve been writing screenplays for more than 25 years. I optioned two feature films early in my writing career, and after many years building businesses, I returned to my first love: storytelling.

Since then, my TV pilot SEASIDE was a Top 10 finalist in Final Draft’s 2025 Big Break competition, and LEGACY is a Second Rounder at this year’s Austin Film Festival.

Growing up overseas gave me a broader view of the world and the people in it. My stories explore coming of age, friendships tested, love lost and found, and the choices we make when life doesn’t go as planned. They’re character-driven, often music-centered, and always written with one goal: to make audiences feel something.
