Seaside is a darkly funny, emotionally layered ensemble mystery set in a picture-perfect Florida beach town where charm is currency and secrets are contagious.

Season 1 begins the morning after the annual Seaside Gala, when local handyman Biff Hartley fails to return home. As his teenage daughter Amy grows increasingly concerned, the town’s well-heeled residents begin to squirm — each hiding something that could connect them to Biff’s fate.

Biff’s body isn’t discovered until the final moments of the pilot, washed ashore with a bottle of local bourbon at his side. From there, the season spirals through a rotating lens of characters — real estate moguls, country music royalty, small-town schemers, and guilt-ridden sinners — all of whom have something to lose.

Anchored by the wry voiceovers of Buddy Templeton, the town’s eccentric Greek chorus, Seaside blends biting Southern wit, slow-burn suspense, and rich emotional storytelling.
